Antidepressants lower male fertility
According to a study published in the New Scientist magazine, depression medication have negative effects on sperm quality.

Findings revealed that high levels of sperms with damaged DNA are found in men taking such medication, which in turn result in the production of fewer embryos with less viability.

Previous studies had reported that SSRIs, a commonly used group of antidepressants, places women at a higher risk of giving birth to babies with low birth weight.
